Cookbook Fundraiser
Dear Acts Youth, Parents/Guardians:
It’s that time of the year again!!! Time to start thinking about youth camp! This summer Acts Youth will be holding ENCOUNTER Camp 2010. Camp will be at Honeyman State Park in Florence, OR on August 11-14th. The cost to attend camp will be $99 per student.
This year Acts Youth will be creating, and selling cookbooks to supplement the cost of camp. We will be doing this fundraiser through Morris Press Cookbooks. Each cookbook will sell for $10 with everyone’s participation if the students sell at least 13 cookbooks their entire camp cost will be paid in full!
Our goal is to collect 400 recipes! We ask that the students collect recipes RIGHT AWAY from Mom, Dad, Grandparents, Aunts or anyone who has recipes for delicious Life Changing food! Each Student can submit 10-15 recipes or so.
The students are encouraged to pre-sell at least 5 cookbooks and collect money in advance so that we are able to pay for printing costs upfront (May 30th). Once the cookbooks arrive they will be able to continue selling as needed.
Here are some deadlines to keep in mind:
Today: Start collecting recipes and pre-selling cookbooks
May 17th: All Recipes need to be turned in to Calla Cuff or the church office
May 30th: All monies collected for pre-sale cookbooks due
June 28-July 3rd: Cookbooks expected to arrive
August 11-14th: ENCOUNTER Camp 2010
