MARLENE SHAFER – ARAD, ISRAEL URGENT PRAYER REQUEST

“I do have an urgent prayer request and thank you and all at COTH for praying with me about this:
When I came back into the country this last time (May 28), I was given a three month visa on the condition that I go to the Ministry of Interior the next day.  Then, when I got to Arad, I was told by several people that if I went to the Ministry of Interior they would probably cancel my visa or shorten it considerably so that I’d have to leave. So a friend of mine and of my Team Leader in Arad said he would give me a letter to the Minister of Religious Affairs asking him to change my tourist visa to a minister’s visa.  As I understand it, he would pretty much have to fight with the Ministry of Interior to get my visa changed from a tourist to a minister’s visa.  So this is where I need LOTS of PRAYER!!!  I have an appointment with the Minister of Religious Affairs for July 14.  I very much appreciate your standing with me in prayer for good results from that appointment.
