Through prayer, local outreaches, short term mission trips, and planting full time missionaries, we are realizing out part of fulfilling the Great Commission. JULY 3rd MISSIONS UPDATE…
MARLENE SHAFER – ARAD, ISRAEL URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
“I do have an urgent prayer request and thank you and all at COTH for praying with me about this:
When I came back into the country this last time (May 28), I was given a three month visa on the condition that I go to the Ministry of Interior the next day. Then, when I got to Arad, I was told by several people that if I went to the Ministry of Interior they would probably cancel my visa or shorten it considerably so that I’d have to leave. So a friend of mine and of my Team Leader in Arad said he would give me a letter to the Minister of Religious Affairs asking him to change my tourist visa to a minister’s visa. As I understand it, he would pretty much have to fight with the Ministry of Interior to get my visa changed from a tourist to a minister’s visa. So this is where I need LOTS of PRAYER!!! I have an appointment with the Minister of Religious Affairs for July 14. I very much appreciate your standing with me in prayer for good results from that appointment. PASTOR AMOS & JAMUNA TIWARI – KATHMANDU, NEPAL ALSO URGENT PRAYER REQUEST
“Much love to you from your family in Nepal. We had powerful and blessed church service today and people were crying with joy to received the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Very sadly, we are not finding another church place for the church as of today. We found one but the rent was so high that we couldn’t afford it. Now we are paying about US$90 for month for our current place and new found place rent is so high. We are very, very worried about our church situation and we don’t know what to do? Our main prayer is to take a land on lease for 10 to 15 years and make a church hall there. It cost would be high and our second prayer is if the Lord not willing to do that we may have to rent a hall for the church, but our tithes and offering couldn’t cover to pay the church for the new place. Please pray that the Lord will open the doors for these prayer requests. This is very serious situation and our whole congregation worried about it. The main problem is local people don’t want to give their place for the church in our area. Our entire family has been praying you. You are very near and dear to our hearts. “Thank you for your heartfelt prayers and generous support! PRAY FOR US! 1. OUR FAMILY’S TRIP TO THE USA ON JULY 21ST. 2. MUCH NEEDED RENOVATION FOR OUR BOYS HOME: APPROX COST = $1,000. 3. A MINI-BUS TO ACCOMMODATE ALL OF OUR ORPHANS: APPROX COST = $15,000. 4. CONTINUED WISDOM AND DIRECTION FROM THE LORD FOR OUR MINISTRY. We still have a long way to go, and having you standing with us gives us great strength and comfort. We thank God for you, and we continually pray for His highest and best in your life.
